Babies cry less when we attempt to respond to their crying-it doesn’t mean we always figure it out, and it doesn’t mean that sometimes it may be appropriate to put them down when crying-however, for the most part we get happier smarter babies when we respond to their crying in a nurturing manner in the first three months.
